IBI Group’s Visualization Specialist, Wilson Loh, shares the process for 3D print prototyping and discusses the selection of materials used to create the firm’s new brand persona, botIBI.


Wilson is a Visualization Specialist working on the Design Technology team at IBI’s Toronto headquarters. He draws on years of experience in industrial design and architectural model-making, and is responsible for operating IBI’s 3D printer and laser cutter to create architectural models, signage, and custom packaging for a range of clients and business development opportunities. Additionally, Wilson is a member of the botIBI design team, where he brings forth his knowledge of materials and 3D-print production to prototype figurines of botIBI, IBI’s new brand persona. Wilson holds a Bachelor of Design from the University of Alberta, as well as a Masters in Design Strategy from Politecnico di Milano.
